In order to move forward, you have to know your learning style. Whether you learn by living it, learn by books, learn by watching others and mimicking, learn by having a mentor, learn by watching a video/tv – figure out how best you learn to absorb most effectively.

What you see of others is what they choose to reveal to you… for you to grudge someone else means that they have succeeded in their own PR campaign by gaining you as a fan/ hater (depending on where you’re coming from). You can admire someone without hating on them or pedestalizing them – because many times, you don’t know crap about them.

When you carry your burdens and others’ burdens in your spirit, it will show in your face – a “hardness” that is irreversible and has nothing to do with age – you lose the light in your eyes and an attractive playfulness. Please dear God, never let me become “hard”.

People talk – its what people do – but however bad a rumor is about you, it won’t last more than a week. Celebrities hire whole teams to help them stay relevant from one week to the next with the public. Often, the only one reminiscing and majorly holding on to your iffy past is you – anyone else holding on – is simply a hater. Bless them.

When so many people – loves and strangers alike want to share their life story with you – the grand conclusion is that people just want to be listened to – not tolerated or heard but listened to. So many are lonely even in families and cities. Not every conversation is a time to try to outdo the other person’s story or even to share yours, just allow someone else to share part of their spirit.

Emotions are reactions we develop to a stimulus. The purpose of an emotion is to lead to a behaviour which is supposed to influence a situation to get a desired outcome. For those of us who have learned to get a desired outcome by exhibiting behaviour with no real emotion attached – is this regression or progression? Or is it just plain old fake?
